Morecambe and Grange Art Fair Preparations.

I'm starting to load the VW camper van with my artwork in preparation for two art fairs over the bank holiday weekend. The first one on Sunday, is on the prom at Grange-Over-Sands. I'll be painting on the day and selling original paintings, limited edition prints and greeting cards. I'll also be publicising the items for sale on www.society6.com/DavidFrenchArt (prints, iPad and iPhone covers).
On Monday I'll be in Morecambe near the Midland hotel, doing the same. Fingers crossed for good weather and plenty of art lovers!

Freehold Garden, Lancaster

Raining today so thought I'd spend an hour painting the garden from the studio door. I want to improve my technique for painting plein air and speed up without spoiling the result.

No action in the garden today...it's too wet (Kath's reading her book again!).

Went for a cycle to Little dale. Painted Kath relaxing after we got back...she likes to read her books!

Pizza Oven Rename

Managed to get another pizza into the oven but seem to have problems getting it to work. Maybe just the wrong equipment? Rename it Baked Potatoes Oven!

Extreme Painting

Cycled to Arnside today in the rain to do a bit of extreme painting with Dave Farren The rain stopped so was able to produce a couple of paintings without loosing them on the floor in a puddle!

Can't wait for warmer climes!

Pizza oven up and running

1. Had our first pizzas from  the pizza oven I built. Just need some more hot hazy summer evenings to enjoy the garden before we go.
