Extreme Painting

Cycled to Arnside today in the rain to do a bit of extreme painting with Dave Farren The rain stopped so was able to produce a couple of paintings without loosing them on the floor in a puddle!

Can't wait for warmer climes!

Pizza oven up and running

1. Had our first pizzas from  the pizza oven I built. Just need some more hot hazy summer evenings to enjoy the garden before we go.

Went fishing off the pipeline...Morecambe, mile out from the Battery.

Tide came in very quickly so I had to move pretty sharpish but not quick enough to catch any fish! I'll get back to work on the house tomorrow...need to finish it, ready in time for the leaving party!

Sorted the bike

Luckily the thieves didn't take my other bike, that it was locked up to. I bought the bike about a year ago because it had some decent wheels that I swapped over. Looks like I'm going around the world on that one...it's a Ridgeback tourer, should be ok, well..it'll have to be..can't afford another one!
Got a definite date for leaving..3rd July..train and ferry are booked..house is rented..most of the jobs are complete...nothings going to stop us now!!

Had my bike nicked from outside the house today. Not insured...stupid! 'Living the dream' is harder than I thought!
