7th April Mandelieu to Nice

Cycle into Cannes for coffee. Gorgeous city, very beautiful buildings around the port and obviously lots of prep happening for the film festival. Even spotted red carpet but it was all closed off. No photo op there.

Onwards to Antibes for lunch. Another beautiful spot. Old Antibes very charismatic.

Then onwards to Nice. Again most of today spent on dedicated cycle tracks or very manageable roads. Easily found our base for the next four days, hotel de buffa. Very cheap at 45 euro but really quite OK, fridge and microwave, big room and a corridor up to it that looks like the one from the shining!
